Under the 'Shishu Yojana' just like the Central Government's Mudra Loan, Haryana Government will bear two percent of the total interest of the loan amount up to Rs 50 thousand.
The Haryana government
has given great relief to the students studying on education loan. The interest
for 3 months of education loan has been waived. 36 thousand students will
benefit from this by 40 crore rupees. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar
announced this. According to Khattar, there are many students who have taken
education loans. All such students, whose education has either been completed
or completed last year, however, due to the epidemic, they have not been able
to start jobs and businesses, the Haryana government will pay the interest of 3
months of their education loan.
Under the 'Shishu
Yojana' just like of the Central Government's Mudra Loan, Haryana Government
will bear two percent of the total interest of the loan amount up to Rs 50 thousand.
They will not need to give any type of collateral for this loan.
Five lakh people of
Haryana have been given loans. The Chief Minister said that the Haryana
government will give loans up to Rs 15,000 to only 3 percent interest to 3 lakh
poor people to start their own small business. These loans will be given under
DRI scheme, in which banks charge four percent interest.
Economic activity has
been limited due to Corona epidemic for the last three months. The income of
the families has been affected; the revenue of the government has also come
down drastically. In the last three months, financial assistance of Rs 636
crore has been given to 15 lakh 9 thousand 108 families.
The amount was directly
transferred to the bank account of the beneficiaries. The Chief Minister said
that keeping in mind the determination not to starve anyone to sleep and
Antyodaya, the government has provided free ration to over 27 lakh families.
Apart from this, three lakh 70 thousand 925 families have been given free
ration without ration card.
So far, two crore 62
lakh food packets and 12 lakh 22 thousand dry ration packets have also been
distributed. There are lakhs of migrant laborers working in Haryana, who want
to go back to their native states due to the lockdown. For them, we have made
free arrangement of buses and trains.
