Yuvraj Singh believes that when the whole world is facing the coronavirus epidemic, it will not be easy to start cricket again.
Yuvraj
Singh (Yuvraj Singh), a former player of the Indian cricket team, known for his
excellent batting all over the world, may have retired from cricket, but even
today there is no shortage of his fans. Who can forget when he surprised
everyone by hitting six sixes in a row? Well, if we sit counting the
achievements of Yuvraj Singh, then the list will be very long. Let's talk about
how the Coronavirus is affecting the whole world in which even the sports world
is not untouched.
Amid
this pandemic, cricket boards across the world are always discussing how to
start the game once again and take care of everyone's safety as it is not an
easy task to start the game during this pandemic. Till now, millions of people
have lost their lives with this virus. Due to the fear, people all over the
world have been forced to remain locked in their houses for a long time. While
different people have a different opinion on restarting the game amid this
epidemic, Yuvraj Singh, the former star batsman of Team India, also thinks
about it differently from others.
Recently,
Yuvraj Singh has released a tweet on his social media account, which reads, 'More
than 7 thousand new cases of Coronavirus have been registered in India within
the last day. I request you all to please be safe and follow social distancing
as much as possible. Also, at this time, we should do whatever we can for the
needy. We will not get a better chance to show humanity.
India has reported 7000+ new #Covid19 cases in the last 24 hrs. I request everyone to pls stay safe & maintain social distancing. Let’s do whatever we can to support the lesser privileged. No better time than now to show our humanity 🙏🏻🙏🏻— yuvraj singh (@YUVSTRONG12) May 29, 2020
Apart
from this, Yuvraj also said that till the whole world is free from the epidemic
like the Coronavirus, it is good not to start cricket again. Health and safety
of the players should be at the top of the game for the patrons. If I am asked,
first of all, we need to protect the world and our country from the
Coronavirus. Kovid-19 should be either wholly eradicated or brought down below
90-95 per cent because if this epidemic continues like this, players will be afraid
to go into the field, dressing room or changing room. Yuvraj feels that while
playing on the ground, the same player remains under pressure and playing
between these viruses can distract the player from playing.
